I would say yes, but.....Id try a 2" spacer berfore I bought another carb...and if you do run a spacer be sure to jet your carb a little ritcher...IE: read plugs...but, If you ever decided to go with a single plane, or plan to, Id stay with the 750...

A 750 would be a better choice on your combination.

Why would you want to use a spacer? I heard that spacers only put the power up at a higher RPM. And if you are using this on the street, that isn't really a desirable thing.

If you use an open plenum spacer it will decrease the low end torque/response, and give you more top end power. You can use a 4-hole spacer to actually increase the lower end response and torque.

But what would this 4 hole spacer do to the top power (5k RPM)? Just sqeeze it out, or maintain?

A 4-Hole Spacer would move the power band down a few hundred RPM.

Which would be good for a street car. But, wouldn't be good for my Vette. I already have low end power. But I would see the use of it.

carb

carb choice not spacer. i have yet to buy either.

2wld4u 08-11-2003 08:21 PM

using a spacer kinda acts like using a bigger carb, (more plenum volume to draw from) and thus more air, this is why you may have to jet your carb ritcher (your getting more air) if your car responds well to the spacer then it may be ok to go with a bigger carb, if it doesnt then you may want to stick with what you have...a dual plane intake always likes a bigger carb that say a single plane..a new carb costs hundreds and a spacer? about 30 bucks...and FYI, spacer's are a great way to fine tune performance..(if needed)

Carb Choice

The 750 Mighty Demon P/N 5402010GC would be you're best choice on your combination.
