Question CARB exempt?

I was talkin' to one of the dudes at work the other day, and he mentioned parts that are CARB exempt. I kinda blew him off, since he's usually alot of BS. Today, I came across something in the new HRM about CARB exempt parts, and now I feel like a donkey. I tried findin' more out about this (like what kinda parts, can I use this stuff on my old F-250, etc.), but I couldn't find anything useful. I found lots of stuff on CARB exempt rubber bands for the imports, but nothin' relevant for a good, ole fashioned, carbuerated, big cube beast. Can anyone here maybe help me out. Seeing as I'm here in California, with no way to *legally* mod my truck, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandon

Usually the manufacturer will give the CARB exempt or compliance information regarding the part in question. You just keep these with your list of modification(s) when you go for your sniff test.
