Post Carb or fuel injection?

I've got a 305HO that I want to build and use in a street rod. I also want to use it for daily driving without going through a quarter tank just trying to start it. I want to get an even mix for play and every day use so should I stick with the carb or stay with the vehicles FI system and upgrade the electronics a bit?

Hey junior, I personally like the carbs my self. The Holley 750 double pumper works great. It's a lot easier for me to work on. But if you know how to work it all then go for the fuel injection. Plus if the car already has the fuel injection then I would probably stick with it.

I personally feel that fuel injection is superior in every way besides price. Carbs are easier to make power with but don't necessarily make more power, and fuel injection will always burn cleaner and more efficient than carbs. I think fi would be the way to go if you have sufficient funds.

Thanks for the input. The motor will be going in a newer S-10. It already has the wiring setup in it - Just wondering what kinds of upgrades I should put in for the electronics?
