Carb help

I have a 52 ford F1 that i put a 302 in and I'm having carb issues. I have a 600 holley vac secondary with a manual choke. I recently rebuilt the carb and have not got it running right since. When I crank it the carb immediately floods. It will run but gas is pouring into the front 2 barrels like a running toilet. I have changed power valves and metering block gaskets and adjusted floats up and down with no luck. The rear float level is perfect but when I take the sight screw out of the front bowl there is no fuel in the bowl. Any suggestions?

I've encountered this and you need to check the mainbody metering block gasket surface for flatness.

I recently worked a set of 1962 Ford 406 Holley 3x2's and the mainbody casting was warped so bad that the accel passage that meets the metering block was about .025" below the gasket surface and like yours filling the powervalve vacuum passage and going straight into the engine.

Good way to start a fire!
