Carb Jetting Starting Point

I am about ready to start my new engine (496ci)

If you have the same head, intake, cam and a tuned carb for a 396ci and put all this on a 496ci would I have to increase the jets by 2 or so to compensate the cubes (+100ci) or it will be fine like it is.

Thank you.
Luc

What carb are you going to use, and what jets are in it now?

I'll be guessing that its a Holley you've got there. If its still an unmodyfied carby, leave the stock jetting and work from there.
Tell tale signs of running rich or lean will be known from plug reading and its driving characteristics. Is it a Double Pumper or Vac. Secondary?
