carb lt1 using original optispark??

i am currently converting my lt1 to carb setup. is there anyway (for the sake of saving a little money) to use the optispark on my application or am i better off with a good HEI dist, coil.... any info is appreciated. thanks

the optispark is computer controlled so no, you will need a 4 pin HEI
