carb overloads

my 383 runs pretty good butt has a problem with the 750 dubble pumper over loading. any help . the carb loads up what can i do?

The carb is sized fine, rule that out.

If the problem is at idle...

1 Trash in the needle/seat front and/or rear?
2 Fuel pressure too high?
3 Blown power valve?
4 Previous 'mods' to the idle circuit? (if carb isn't new)
5 Gross mis-adjustment of idle mix screws?

Not sure what you mean by loading up? I'm guessing it's flooding and getting too much fuel. I would open the sight plugs on the fuel bowls and check your float level, sounds like they are too high. You have to have the car running to check the float level. It gets messy so have some rags ready. Adjust them to the point that gas barely trickles out of the hole. One or the other fuel bowl may be set too high set.
