Carb Selection

Okay, i have a 355 sbc with a performer rpm cam and intake. Its going in a 86 cutlass supreme approx 3500 lbs. Heads are #441 stock chevy, approx 9.5:1 compression. Converter is B&M 2200-2400 stall. Transmission is a TH350 and rear end gear is 3.42. I plan on taking the car to 6500-7000rpm when i visit the track. Now i went through my box of carbs and i have a few diferent choices. The three carbs are:

Holley
1850-4
0576

Holley
3918 or 3318 (Can't tell first two numbers were too close.)
2527

Carter AFB Competition Series
9605S 0384
they are all spread bore, and the two holleys i believe are 4160 series. The holley numbers came off the choke housing. Can anyone give me a suggestion on which one will work best, some info on them, and maybe some upgrades i can do like converting the 4160 to 4150. Thanks in advance
Shane

Any chance that this Holley 3918 / 3318 is a 3310? That's a pretty popular 750.

The Holleys offer a lot more adjustment and tuning potential compared to the AFB. Buy Holley's assortment of springs for the vacuum secondaries and read up on tuning them, you should be in good shape so long as they're mechanically sound.
