I have a Edelbrock Torker 11 (single plane) intake with a Holley 4150 (750 cfm double pumper, mechanical secondaries)on a SBC 350.What is the best spacer or plenum 4 hole or open and why? I enjoyed a previous post in regards to hood clearance as I'll have the same situation. Thanks,
Use open spacers where more plenum volume or more carb-to-plenum floor distance is required. This allows high velocity mixtures more distance to turn into the runners, especially with small cfm carbs. 4-hole spacers enhance low-rpm torque and throttle response and dampen reversion effects on the carb.
