carb spacers
what is the point of carb spacers do they help or not just wondering what the benifit is thanks in advance

I have seen dyno tests that reported gains in using some carb spacers. Better atomization and flow. Some help insulate the carb from intake heat.

Open spacers allow both sides of the manifold to pull from the whole carb, kind of like those dual plane intakes with part of the center divider cut out. Carbs are too low to the manifold floor and make the mixture turn too sharp into the runners, causing gas to drop out of the air mix. Raising the carb often helps this. Every situation is different. Spacers are a try and see proposition.

I had great results going from a 1" four hole spacer to a 1" open.

one thing to remember if carb spacer is over 1" you gotta jet up 1 to 2 jet sizes higher.
