Is this carb. usable?

This is a Hitachi carb. by Holley. Is it usable, or should I attempt to fix/rebuild it? If I need to replace it, any suggestions on what kind, make or model? It's off a 1979 Ford Courier 2.3L which came stock with a manual choke, however this one has an electric choke and was hooked up. So I could go with either choke setup.

I'm not too sure I could find a rebuild kit for it. And I'm not too sure about the electric choke either. I've only had this running a couple of times myself and it seemed like it wasn't working.
Okay, say I want to replace it with a manual choke carb. Any suggestions?

Be different, make an adapter and put 2,depending on cu.in., Harley side draft carbs. I took a fuel injected 3 cyl GEO metro, made a custom aluminum intake with one Harley carb and it ran great.Later that year I went to a World of Wheels show and ED"BIG DADDY" ROTH was there and he had done the same thing on his latest creation. I think it was 2001.

go to napa and or oreillys, and look through the book of rebuild kits, if they dont have it, anybody behind the counter with half a brain(good luck) can get you one.
