Which carb to use

I have 2 carbs 1 is a 650 mighty demon or a 750 edelbrock it going on a 383 stroker with roughly 420 hp and 450 tq.

I think the 650 is better sized but that is my opinion. You will get better throttle response more air velocity. Both carbs are good when set up right.

i'd go with the 650 cfm...set up correctly it will be plenty of carb for your application and i think you will be happier with it

which carb

i was wondering the same for my 383 .......but i ordered the 750 elderblock because i was told it is bolt on and go.. and is a good street carb as for gas. i hope more jump in on this one for a answer

as mentioned ^^ the 650 will be plenty if it is tuned right, and i have never been much for an edelbrock carb on a performance engine.

I have a similar engine but maybe a few more ponies, aluminum heads, pistons, etc... I have Holley 750, double pump, love it .. jetting is the key to these carbs. One can use a smaller cfm carb with larger jets or more air and smaller jets...
I am lucky, a super tune shop is nearby and he tuned the carb per exhaust gases, temp, etc..
try them both out and see what your 60 ft. track times are
Good luck ,, be nice to know what you end up with .. carb / jet sizes.
