carb warning about auto overdrives?

i have a new 383 engine and had problems with my demon carb. the compant that built my engine sent me a holley 750 double pumper. i was getting ready to install and i read in the instructions that it says this carb can not be used with automatic over drive trans. this was a warning. now below this warning it says not to use on fords because it has no kick down lever. now in another picturs it shows were to hook an gm automatic trans.

i have a new rebuilt 700r4.

so my question is will it hurt it, or is the warning only for the fords?

need quick reply because i was planning in installing tonight.

If you are using a 700 r4 it is called a TV cable. It needs to be adjusted correctly or your trans will mess up. Look at this a little
