Carbon Fiber

Anybody know where I can purchase a small piece of carbon fiber board approximately 8 in. X 36 in. for a dashboard insert.
Thanks,

I found this doing a search Carbon fiber panels Rather pricey though. There are a few others but all seem to be about the same price. Just do a search and type in Carbon fiber sheets.

Carbon Fiber

Just roughly, it would cost about $1800 for a 4' x 8' sheet of that stuff. Think I'll do oak to match the steering wheel.

Carbon Fiber

Vince -
Thanks. I sent an e-mail to CST.
Problem is, I just need a 3.5 in. X 29" piece to insert behind the gauges in my '51 Mercury and most of these people want to sell a carbon fiber airplane and don't supply small amounts like what I need.
I'm probably going to end up using an Oak panel to match the steering wheel.
Again, thanks for taking the time to help,
Charlie Smith

You might also try McMaster Carr, they may have it and they sell in small quantities.
