carburated 4l80e
i read the n/l on the 454 carbed 4l80e. will hard wiring and dash buttons really work? i ain't got the money for the controller. also, will i still need to get a convertor lock out switch kit? i, too, thought i could hook up to the rpm access on my distributor, but figured the shift silinoides had to be energized in some fashion. can you provide a diagram and explain the procedure of up and down shifting the tranny? all help will be appreciated on this father to son project.
