Carburated Iron Duke to T.B.I

I had an idea rolling around in my head for a while now.
I have a 1985 Century Bronco Boat with the 3.0 liter Iron Duke engine.
It has 4.020 Bore with 3.48 stroke. It is virtually half of a 350.
It is a 4 cylinder engine with a rochester 2 barrel carb on it. I have a parts truck that is a 1989 Chevrolet K1500 that had a 305 T.B.I engine in it. I have all of the wiring and the computer still in the truck. I also have a throttle body from a 4.3 liter V6 but also have the throttle body from a 350 and 305. Putting all labor aside would it be doable to make this boat throttle body fuel injection. I am kind of curious about the knock sensor? Would chances of a fire in the engine compartment be greater. I guess maybe this is a stupid or way out thought that I have but I would like to know if it is plausible and maybe some ideas on how to do it.

You should be able to do this, but you should find an s10 with the 4cyl. My kid went the other way. He used the s10 motor and 5 speed and put it in a small hot rod that he built. He used the intake and made an adapter for a 2 bl. carb. The dist. came from an earily 4cyl from a Citation. Looks like an Iron Duke. I'm not sure if these parts will bolt right up but is worth looking into.

i am pretty sure this is doable, i am looking for what to do with the knock sensor and the oxygen sensor. Can these be taken off through programming of the ecm and still function properly. Or is there something else to do with the knock sensor, that will make it function properly?
