Carburetor installing tips

I am looking for information on how to install a carburetor on my 1984 chevy silverado truck. Does anyone know where I could find some information on how to get it running? I have installed a transmission already but now the carburetor needs to be replaced? Please help if you can. Thanks so very much.

well you need the 4 small screw bolts and a carb gasket for the specific carb ( if stock, it would be a rochester 2bbl or a Rochester Q jet ), after that the linkage is self explainitory, only goes 1 way.
