Carpet

What would be the best carpet for a beginner the use in a 1955 truck. I don't want the is made for my truck. I have that and it just don't fit very good.
I hope some one can help? I like the look of wilton wool are German square weave. I know either one will not be cheap.

In a truck you can use anything you want because you don't need much. Wilton wool carpet and German square weave (also called box weave) carpet (which is also usually wool, but can be synthetic) are very pricey. Wilton is cut pile and square weave is loop carpet. Loop carpet is generally preferred in a car because it's easier to clean. Wool carpet is very long wearing, soil resistant, and easy to clean.
If you don't want molded carpet, you need to buy roll goods. Most other auto carpet is made from nylon and comes in 5 or 6 different patterns. Any of the online auto carpet companies will sell you roll goods as well as carpet specific to your vehicle. Be aware that most places online get their carpet from Auto Custom Carpets, so go right to them and don't pay a premium for the same carpet. www.accmats.com

I'm surprised. I have never had a problem with any of the stuff I've gotten from them.
