carpet problem on '32 roadster
I just installed some carpet in a '32 ford, I can't get how to install it on the trans. tunel. do you split it down the middle and sew in a V shape? the carpet has a rubber back on it like indoor outdoor carpet. The tunel is about 2ft. long and about 8in. high at the firewall, and molds into a flat floor. can someone help me out? thanks///Dan

You will not get one piece of carpet to cover the whole thing. The tunnel gets covered with a separate piece of carpet, which is the first thing you cover with the carpet. Then you need to cut out around the base of the tunnel and bind the edges of the carpet that butt up next to the tunnel. Look at this picture from Krist Kustoms. CLICK HERE Click on the picture on the lower left side, and you'll see what I mean.
