Hi everyone: How are we all doing on this beatiful October day? I have wondered for a long time about buying carpet for the Chevelle, I'd like to buy it in a similar manner to buying carpet for the house. I can buy and have bought the fuzzy stuff from my upholster guy. I would really like looped pile. The same stuff that one can buy in a pre-formed kit. I don't want a pre-formed kit. I only have a set of racing buckets and a roll cage in the Chevelle. There is no back seat, just fuzzy carpet from the fire wall to the package tray. Let me hear from ya'll....t

Many carpet stores will carry an indoor/outdoor carpet. I think they refer to it as boat carpet. It is a loop pile, not this fake vinyl/grass looking stuff. It is usually fairly cheap too. Call around

Hey everyone: I got a post from a rep at the AABest company. Any color 80" wide 80/20 loop pile, $18.00 a running yard plus shipping. Not a bad price for auto carpet. I have tried the fuzzy stuff while it looks good, it does not hold up for more than a couple of years. I'd like more bang for my buck. One other question: is the carpet in a 65 El Camino the same as the front carpet in a 65'Chevelle SS. Thanks
