Well, i will say that the next new impala will share the same body/chassis with the upcoming cadillac XTS. Both will be front-drive and have the 3.6 engine----i never thought i would see the fullsize cadillac and chevy with less than 230 cubes! i'm also disappointed that the impala SS is no longer offered but maybe the sales numbers were not there to justify it's existence?

i've seen a few volts "running" around (pun intended). It seems ok, but i wouldn't buy one---not for 40K at least.

i really like the current silverados, but i can't quite bring myself to spend 29K on one, so it's back to rebuilding used ones for me. i think it's quite amazing that the gen 0 small block (v-6) is still being equipped in these trucks.

Where are you located?
