cars at the burger joint

i went to a meet n greet last night.
and met a man who uses this 1940 buick as his daily driver.
it isnt all original because it has new upholstery.
but otherwise bone stock.
he still needs to have the pinstriping redone on the wheels and rechrome the hub caps.
but that is all.
what a car.
my best gal couldnt make it.
too bad because she would have LOVED this buick!

That's original paint? Wow, has that lacquer ever stood up well, you can sure tell that it hasn't seen a Canadian Winter...beautiful car...it's great just the way it is...They sure did put style in cars back then.

it was cold and super windy so almost everyone drove regular cars to the meet.
but since i am either
1 a fool
2 a diehard
3 a foolish diehard
i of course drove the 27 chevy.

as a matter of fact a bunch of highways were closed due to dust storms

It must not have been raining or snowing since the Buick seems to be missing wipers.

In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.

Nothing as cool as that. Most of my travels have been in a semi.
One night I was driving though the Utah desert, it was snowing like crazy and I'm wondering just why I was driving in a snowstorm in what was supposed to be a desert.
