carter 2 bbl leaks down
I have a carter 2 bbl that runs great,but if it sets for more than a day,then there is no gas in the bowl,and it has to be primed.what part in the carb. causes this.

snowmonkey,
take off the top plate of your carb and check your float and inlet valve. Your inlet valve could be worn and may need to be replaced. It may not be sealing proplerly and allowing fuel to sink back down the fuel line when engine is off. JB
