Carter Carb??

Hey, I'm back!

I have a 2 BBL carter from a 68 Chrysler, carb # 4423S. I am building an adapter plate to mount it on my 3.1L conversion (3.1 with 2.8 top end). The problem is I need to redirect the throttle links by 90 degrees.

Is there a kit available to move it around? I don't have room to move the cables (throttle and automatic tranny), but I do have a machine shop available to me. I can build what I need, but I'd rather get something that looks custom.

Also, I need an air breather that is 1.5" tall for a 4.25" throat.

Thanks.

It's on my Olds Omega (see my journal). The carb is toast, and a small 4 barrel setup is too large for this engine. I couldn't close the hood with one, and I don't want to hack it. the 2 BBL has a little more than enough flow rate for this engine without drowning it in gas.

Thanks.
