Carter P4070 Electric Fuel Pump

Does anybody have the dimensions (preferably without the fittings installed) on the Carter P4070 fuel pump? Also, with this pump's max pressure of 6 psi, is there any reason to install a pressure regulator with this pump to feed an Edelbrock carb (1405 or 1406)? Many thanks in advance to all who reply.

The pump is basically round and is 3" in diameter. The distance from inlet boss to outlet boss is 3 3/8". If you use the supplied bracket, the distance from the face of bracket (mounting surface) to the centerline of inlet/outlet fittings is 1 5/8". Overall height, from electrical connections on bottom to mounting nuts on top is 6". The pump puts out an honest 6 psi and I have used this on an Edelbrock 1405 with no problems.

Hope this helps,
Steve

Steve - this is exactly what I wanted to know. Could not find the dimensions on that unit anywhere. Much thanks.
