Cast iron heads question

Can I port my 624 casting sbc heads with 1.94 &1.5 to perform well? Block is .30 over

I would not waste my time on 624 castings. These are some of the worst SBC heads. Light weight , VERY crack prone.

There was a 428624 head that might not be as bad as the crack-prone 462624.

The 428624 also had 1.94" x 1.5" valves, had 76 cc chambers and was used as far back as '69 according to the numbers I'm seeing.
