Cat Wiskers??

I'm getting ready to put my windows and power units in and I need the bottom seal for the glass. I was told to just use cat wiskers for it and it should be fine. Well I didn't bother to ask what cat wiskers are. Ok I know I should have but..
Anyway I found this and need to ask if this is what I'm looking for

I'd ask the guy that told me but he just left till after New Years.

Thanks
David

That is the inner "belt line" seal on a movable window. The outer one could be the same or a rubber "scraper", depending on the car.

What kind of car is this that you are working on? Most of these parts can be bought that fit right on a car,you shouldn't have to "create" anything.

Thanks Brian
I'm woking on my '46 Chevy Panel and I can get the original seal for the windows but the old windows have the metal frame and I'm going frame less on the new ones so I'm not real sure they will work.

The original style will work in your application I would assume. Just look at the one on the original frames and figure it out.

What are you doing where the frames use to be? Isn't there a gap were you will see the window channel? I would think, if the frames are anything like the AD, the best way would be to DETAIL the frames so they fit flawlessly.
