ccimotorsports Press Release "Baddest Buick In The Land"

Crew CCI Motorsports works feverishly to freshen up the Hemi Powered 57 Buick Pro Mod for Maple Grove this coming weekend with the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Associations Series. New rings and a piston package will tighten up the 526 c.i. hemi. A new center section is also in store for this fast door slammer. We'll check out the new gear at Friday's test and tune session before Saturday's races. After finding some minor issues after a good experiance at the Summernationals at E-Town, the cars potential is rising with more than expected performance from the Tim McAmis chassis. CCI Motorsports would like to thank his crew, Tim McAmis Race Cars, Kip Dupuis, DMPE, Jon Salemi, Richard Dixon, Gil Davis and Tommy "the Undertaker" Gray for their support

That's a good point, I felt the same way about FORD, CHAEVY and others in Funny car classes, thay all had hemis in them cept for a few, now the kicker would be the Stanleyandweissracing Camaro Pro Mod with an OLDS 481X motor, now there's a bastardized Camaro but none of the non hemi's only the 481X has been a competetive motor in the IHRA and ADRL pro modifieds.

Now that turbos have found their way into the blown class, you may see a chevy engine in a chevy body, lol.

New, Really ?? a Buick bodied Pro Mod, I've seen just about all of them but please if you find a pic or something please fill me in, I'd love to see it. Some 57 Chevys look like it alot, it took me awhile even after I shot this thing five or six times to realize it was a Buick body and the owner of this car previously was Kip Dupuis in a green color, and the Patillies took it from him and it was kelly green where the silver is now on the side.

Pretty much what Pro Mod has come to these days, with blown cars going 230+ they really are just carbon fiber copies and laid back distorted. A good friend of mine just had a 70 Chevelle done for the Outlaw Pro Mod series, at first I didn't think I'd like it but the final version is intense and actually works well.
