CD player/cold weather
Why is it when its cold out and I first get in my car the CD player won't read CDs???If I shut the car off mid song and comeback thenext day it will start plaing that song as soon as I start the car,just won't read CDs.Seems the car has to be warmed up for about 20min or so for it to read.I've use CD leans cleaners,my CDs are scratchless and clean.So I dunno???
Also it won't read Burned CDs.Not sure how old it is but the cars a 94 so it ain't that old.

Is the CD player an aftermarket? I used to have
the same problem with mine. I had a Sony. I first thought that there was a porblem with it so I swapped it with another one I had laying around and it never did it again. I think it could have been from condensation on the lens or that the grease on the internal parts was thickened by the cold.
