Change 4.11 to 3.08 rear end gears

I'm new to this forum. I need some help on changing out the posi 4.11
gears to 3.08 gears. The hotrod has only 450 miles on it but I don't
need the low gear ratio.
Can I do a 'straight over' exchange? without changing the axles? What
is the cost of 3.08 gears? The gears in the '32 coupe are from Randy's
Rack and Pinion Shop out of Washington state.
thanks for any assistance.

I called Randy's ring and pinion today and they said with my tire size (265/70s) 0n 16 rims, I should not have a problem with 411 gears. maybe it is my tranny...
I'll start a new thread
Thanks
