Question change heads

i have a 383 with edelbrock heads that i want to change to afr heads.are they worth the work to change for more hp i dont know much about whats inside the motor what i know is its bored .40 over edelbrock rpm intake holy 750 roller tip rockers 10.5 compresion, pistons??cam??i dont know the size of the cam but by the way it runs it sounds some were around 300-500 ..what i want to find out is that when i put these heads on am i going to have to report my intake ,get more fuel flowing my fuel pump is a comp that doesnt flow very much and my fuel line is 3/8s not 1/2 inch .not knowing nothing about these pistons is it going to affect the head to buy .and how do i find out what model# my edelbrock heads are the only ## i see on these are 6160 but cant find info on those ##

your cam and heads work together. Too much cam and not enough in the heads defeats the whole point. That's about all I know personaly.
I had a set of heads from EDELBROCK myself and I was not able to find anything out, SO I SENT THEM A EMAIL........got the info I needed.
Give it a try.
I looked up the # you gave in the 2002 parts Catalog and saw no 6160.......sorry.

my new cam im going to go with what afr says to go with but one size biger i just started to pull my motor apart to find out cam piston sizes so i know what they are.does anybody know if there is a for sale place on this site
