Change the HOT HEI coil

Hello, I have a SBC with a HEI and of top of it an accel 140003, but the coil gets hot, a lot, and I want to replace it but using a modified HEI cap removing it from the heat. What coil do you guys suggest? It's a daily driver but I'm still looking for the one that can give a lot more than the one I have

Hi,
It's normal for a coil to get hot, as long as it doesn't stop working when hot it's, OK.
