changing door handle location
Hi there,
i'm currently making custom door panels for my 1989 ford bronco. One thing i was wondering is how i would go about changing the location of the door handle on the frame of the door (interior) and if it's even possible or worth doing.

Most any thing is possible with enough patience, time, parts, money, or all the above. The big question is, for what reason? Seems that relocating them could easily wind up with an interferance problem with the windows, or making for an awkward position to reach for the door handle.

good point....what about just putting a new handle system in?I just do not want the look of the cheap stock handle in the new door panels. Can you just go to a store and pick up a new easy to install handle system?

door handles
you might want to compare your stock units with something like out of an LTD, Crown Vic, Merc full size, or Lincoln if you are wanting to dress it up a little.
YOu can get replacement handles but usually they arent any better than what you have and often cheaper in appearance.
