I was watching a motorcycle show and someone had changed the carbs to the exhaust ports and the exhaust pipes to the intake ports. My question is, does this only involve installing a mirror image opposite grind on the cam or is there more involved? Thanks.
you would have to change the chamber shape, change valves to correct sizes, new cam, have 8 carbs or two 4 cylinder manifolds for intakes, and so on. not worth it unless lots of money to blow on trying stuff.
Thanks for the replies, I wasn't going to try to do it but was more curious how one would actually go about doing it. I suppose then that if the valve sizes are similar and chamber shape is same (hemisperical maybe) then it just boils down to the weird cam grind necessary.
