A fresh engine and no real body work for $3500? I would get it. A guy around here was trying to sell a '66 Charger with a 383 (don't know the condition), quarter panels that would need replacing, a new paint job and fixing up other minor body issues, and at least a new exhaust from what I could see for the 5 minutes I looked at it. Later I found out the guy was asking $8000 for it.

I agree with 1meancuda...BUY IT!!!There's not many of these cars left, and everyone's trying to get their hands on some kind of classic. You could restore it,sell it,and roll in the money!!Or,if you wanted too..Keep it,put some good money in it,possibly Grundy Insurance, and drive it!I've heard those old Charger's are fun.Of course,I saw something today that I wouldn't mind having..There's an upolstry shop on the way to school and he has an Edsel sitting out front.I guess it needs the interior lol.It looks to have been fully restored.I wouldn't mind having it though. Can anyone say..H*O*T*R*O*D T*I*M*E!?!

i drove 900 miles to pick up a 1973 mustang mach 1 fastback with a 429 cobrajet 4 speed posi for 2,000 dollars american. my cousin "forgot"to give the guy a deposit.as i was pulling into town, i noticed a car extremely like mine(never saw it)on the back of a trailer at the gas station .and guess what . IT WAS MINE!!!!!!.well, when i found his house, the first thing he said was, i forgot to go over, but dont worry, it was there for weeks. right.right. anyway, those old dodges fetch a nice dollar, but they're more money to restore than a vette. my cousin (same guy)paid 900. for a used fender. it was a 73 satelite. if the body is good, getit. suppose you pieced it out, you will make money. mikey

Well,If I'm not mistaken..$900 is way too much for a used Chrysler fender.I wouldn't think that it would be over $250 new??Is that $900 in U.S Dollars?Anyway,if they were that much, you wouldn't see as many restored Chrysler's as you do.That would be on of those times that the fender would be filled with Bondo lol.Anyway,I would think that Fenders And More Superstore would have the body parts at nice prices. There's usually at least 1 in every state I believe. They're the guys that supply the body shops..Around here anyway.

If you were going to buy it,I would go ahead and check into prices of parts so you don't pass out later if they are more expensive than the should be.
