Having a little trouble finding a rear brake hose for my car. I have a 30 model A coupe on a So-cal pinched nose frame and a new 9" currie. Im going steel inverted flare line, they have a hose for stainless 37 degee but not for the 45 inverted. Are you guy's having to have thoes made. this hose has to be about 23 inches long or I could move my frame bracket closer but I can't even find a shorter hose. Where is everybody getting there rear frame to rear end flex hose for the brake lines? Pops

I used a stainless braided hose on my 34 from Pure Choice. It is nowhere near 23" long though, more like 14".

Check with Speedway motors, they have fittings to adapt the steel 45 to an hose.

Inline tube provided everything I needed to completely replace my lines and hoses, 4 wheel disc.

When I did the brake lines and hoses on my Austin gasser I had a real mixture to ferret out. A GM rearend that was American, GM metric discs on the straight axle, and a Subaru metric master cyl.!
Simply went to my local brake supplier and told him what I had; 10mm master fittings, 7/16-20 banjo fittings on the front calipers, and std. rear wheel cylinders. He gave me all the hose drops and adapter fittings to go from std. to metric, and metric to banjo fittings, all in braided stainless with clear platic coatings.
It was super easy, and darn cheap too! I got all my hard lines, fittings, hoses, brackets, T's, etc. for around $100.

Get me the fitting size at each end, and the overall length, and I'll get you a NAPA part number.

thanks guy's, I was running thru napa's parts catalog on the puter and found a shoot load of rear hoses and I found one that I thought would work. Its coming out of LA tomorrow so I'll let you know if it works. Bill

Enjenko, thanks for the tip. there web site had just the hose I needed. Ok so I've spent the last two days building brake lines and Im almost done, right rear wheel line and its fini. I tried to make it pretty so it took a little longer than I thought. Thanks everybody for the input. Pops

You're welcome. I begged an old catalog from my NAPA store, Illustrated brake parts, which has all that info in it.
