Pretty hard to tell but those pics. The steering box looks GM, but the rearend housing does not. No cahnce of getting a picture of more of it?

This kind of reminds me of the old show, "Name That Tune". You might want to try to get some photos from under it, that show the whole thing.

I believe this frame is a 58-64 Chev Impala X frame.This attached file looks the same as to what I have.Chev rims bolt on this unit and if you look back at one of the other pics you will se GM with #'s on the housing.Am I right or wrong??

Yep, think you are right.....The strap behind the rear is for the gas tank.

yea its an x frame that has had some handy dandy work done , nice brake line. also it looks like the rear isn't boxed anymore like it should be??
