Chassis jig

Hi All

i am building a 55 second series Chevy pick-up and I need a chassis.
I want to build a full custom pro street chassis, but first i need a chassis jig.
Anyone know of any on-line plans or drawings?

thank

Take your original frame. Build a steel table. Make the appropriate spacers, towers etc. to hold the stock frame and voila, frame jig, good for Chevy trucks from at least 55-59.
Don't forget to have your stock frame measured and cross-measured before doing the above to make sure it is straight and square with no racking, no twisting, no bows and no bends.

Check out this thread and the threads mentioned in it:

Chassis Jigs

I found this by typing in "frame jig" in the search box above.

Thanks for that.
Small problem; the existing frame has a Camero front clip already attached, and not very well. I really don't trust it. I was hoping I could find some drawings to save some time and effort.

thanks again and have a good weekend

Thanks Homebrew
I will follow it up and see where it leads.
I probably should have tried doing a search, ARCA race must have distracted me.
Have a good one
