To checkvalve or not
Being born in Ft Dodge Iowa I need no excuse for liking mopars , I have a flatbottom with a 8-71 Dyers on a 440, and building a 36 Plymouth coupe running a 340 6-pak , Question, I am running a ford rack ( 82 bird ) with a gm pump with a speedway fitting in the pump that supposedly makes them ford rack friendly yet the steering is kinda jumpy? ( not smooth turning the wheel ) I noticed in the rack install instructions they mentioned a check valve used in the pressure line connection on some applications , can anyone shed some light on this
