I would think it would sound good. Maybe some 3'' pipes after the muffler would give it a little deeper tone. My friend did this on a 305 Chevy in a 91 k1500 he had. He had one flowmaster 40 with two 3'' pipes after the muffler. Man that thing had a deep tone, best sounding engine I've ever heard.

You put a new cherry bomb pro (flowmaster wannabe) on your 292, have a soundclip?

I think the idea of larger pipes after the muffler is a good idea. You can go to inliners.org and search for "More I-6 VIDEOS ", there are a couple setups there, maybe you will like one, go from there. Would like to hear it when you have it installed, post up a soundclip. Later

I had a 250 CI Chevy L6. No sound clips. The best sound I got was with a Dynomax turbo muffler. And it was like 40 bucks.
