Post chev 302 turned into a 350

Bummed , but not bad. I learned how to completely identify my engine. Amazed i was to find out that The same casting number could be a 302/327/ 0r 350. I had to teach myself about suffix codes!!!! So i was all pumped about this 302!!!! It`s o.k. though, it did turn out to be a 4 bolt main 350 out of a c20 truck. So i`m still in good shape. I may just keep it for a builder now. I do want to thank you all for the help. I keep on learnin stuff!!!
Say, i have a tilt sterring collumn, from a 1988 gmc complete with cruise handle and the keys on the collumn.(BLK) I would like to trade it for a tilt with the keys on the dash.Red or Blk. Or i`d let it good for 75.00. I do not have the skill to do anything but basic wireing. I think i can hand a tilt with keys on the dash wireing.

hi again, got my column from a '79 and the key is still in the column. put the factory key in line to the coil as a anti-theft lock. dont know what i'd do with the cruise control crud tho. same thing i'm doing with the auto shift lever-throw it out! for the wiring diagram look in any HAYNES in the back and don't bother even lookin in a Chiltons, cause it aint there. ps plan on having to make a steering shaft with 2 ujoints (i have some you can HAVE!) <img src="graemlins/mwink.gif" border="0" alt="[mwink]" />
