Chev 350 Oil Pan Gasket

I have what Mortec says is a 69-80 350 ( casting number 3970010). What determines whether it uses a thick or thin front seal on the oil pan gasket? I want to use a 1 piece oil pan gasket probably Fel-Pro or Milodon. I have to order the gasket so I want to know before ordering the wrong part. Is it the oil pan that is the determining factor? I will use OEM or Slam Guard.

Thanks,

Bill
