chev starter rebuild
 

Have been out of fooling with cars for a while and I am looking at rebuilding a chev starter. I noticed when I tryed to buy some brushes that this not a common thing. This used to be a very common thing. What am I missing?

Honestly for the cost of a rebuilt starter w/warranty from a parts store, rebuilding your own is not cost effective anymore. But if you just want to rebuild it, Auto Zone has them.

Sign of modern times. People don't repair things now. They buy already done. Thats why the rapid demise of private rebuilder/machine shops.
