Chevelle Concept in the works?

Check out the design drawings for a Chevelle concept GM insider has posted. I can only speak for myself, but I like it!

I don't know what a volt is but I was going to say it looks too much like the Camaro and doesn't even loosely resemble any Chevelle I ever saw.

Too Caddy looking. Instead of making embarassing rehashes of past glories, GM needs to come up with new inovative designs and names. That design looks like all they did was tweak the new Caddy ( Camaro looks like a Caddy too ) a little and slap a badge and name that older people can relate to. Sometimes I wonder who they're trying to shovel this crap to. Older people who still remember or younger kids who heard the stories.

This is the Volt:

This is the so-called Chevelle Concept:

I think bringing back an old flame is a good idea as long as it looks good. The Camaro is ugly.
Chrysler hit the nail on the head when they went retro...

How can Chevrolet get the Corvette (especially the recently revealed '09 ZR1) so right, and yet the rest of their cars are so wrong? I don't like the new Camaro, the Impala is and always has been a joke to me (the '94-'96 SS cars notwithstanding) and if they really do end up gluing a "Chevelle" badge on the above car, I'll be truly ashamed.

Yea...just try telling that to your wife. LOL!!! I like the looks of the Chevelle concept myself. But it is almost identical to the Volt by looking at the front air scoops and turn signals in the mirrors.

If it makes it to production, there will be a LS series engine in it. The rest is left to Hotrodders.
