Wink chevy 10 bolt

Hi there;

I need to the backlash for a chevy 10 bolt rear end in a '89 1/2 ton p/u
I've changed the third member bearings and have
.007 backlash now.Is this good or bad?

your .007 backlash is fine for your truck, if you just plplaced the bearing, before you button er up I would just quickly ck your tooth pattern on pinion to confirm proper pinion position. Hope this helps out.

Checked tooth pattern already. Pinion depth is ok.
