chevy 2.8L V6

This motor cam out of a 86 camaro that my parents go for my little bro. He got drunk one night and decided to take it muddin in a corn field, got stuck and ripped the clutch out as well as spunn a rod bearing. It was still running tho!! knockin its ***** off but it would start right up.

Any way, I was thinkin of puttin a crank kit in it and selling it on ebay. It only had 61,000 origonal miles on it, and never smoked a missed a lick.. It was a good little motor till my stupid brother got ahold of it.

My dad said I can have it for free, just to get it outa his garage. Is it even worth messin with or should I just haul it to the scrap yard??

I have one of those that also needs a crank. Its worth the goign price of scrap iron. I even have a cam and headers on mie, along with a quick port job.

I get those for free pretty frequently. They sell for $50 reliably. Not worth the investment.

you could probably get $25 for it in its current condition and be ahead of the game. Its kind of a shame they don't bring more money. They were a fine little workhorse, and not the time bomb that everyone assumes they are.
