If your intake is a factory intake, I wouldn`t bother swapping them, I`d just get the Q-jet rebuilt, you`ll gain no power by swapping to a Holley, and you`ll need a adapter plate which will cost you power instead of gaining it. Loose the caps, no need to shout.

Q jets are pretty cool carbs, and hard to get in decent shape anymore. Keep it and run it.

If you want to switch from a computer controlled carb to a non you will also need to swap out the distributor also, the factory one has parts controlled by the same computer that controls your carb and your car won't run right when you change just one of the two. Even if you don't gain much power your engine bay will look better with less of the computer crap in the way.

By the way that computer is located behind the passenger side kick panel.

computer qjets suck. you have no idea the time i spent jacking with my q jet. as soon as i replaced it with an old qjet and old distributor i saw not only more hp but better gas mileage to. go with the old stuff
as for the computer it will turn your check engine light on all the time qjet or holly. disregard the light
