Make sure you know your engines and/or do your research before you purchase. I know to most of us it seems common sense, but not every block that came out of a chevy with "5.0" cast into the side is a chevy engine. The 307 olds came the same way and was offered in a few chevy vehicles. I just went to check out a supposed "403" a couple months back and it was a 307 with a torker intake and some shiny bolt-ons. Guy swore up and down that it was a 403 and that it came out of a trans am until I pointed out the "5.0" casting in the side. He apologized for the misinformation (he was a chevy builder, they can't be expected to know everything ) and we went our separate ways.
