See the which search bar at the near the top of the page? Type something like "305 heads on a 350" and start reading the 10 pages worth of search results to get the answer to your question. Same goes with the Vortec heads. These questions have been asked and answered thousands of times.
you can use the 305 heads on a 350 but you will need to do alot of porting on them if you want to really gain any power search F-BIRD'88 he has done wonders with 416 305 heads but if you can get a set of vortecs that would be the easiest way to go and they will put more power out
You're welcome. Did you try the search bar? If you did then you would understand exactly what I am talking about. That's why it's there. Questions like this are asked almost daily.
no vortec heads bolt pattern goes in straight up and down on the intake on the older tbi and carb type the intake bolts go in at a slant.
I'm sure there is an aftermarket intake that will allow that though.
I may be wrong if so someone correct me but i'm pretty sure.

AND, that's precisely the reason so many threads are sent to Basics and many die there. Like Blazin said, there are many many answers in the site database if your willing to put out just a little effort and self educate yourself.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
