In the Lesaber, the engine went and blew clouds of smoke for miles. I ended up grabbing a bunch of parts and throwing them together. Found a 700r4 from a S10 , a 300hp 327 from a rusted partscar belair with Z28 intake and 750 edel carb, to replace the buicks 350, new 4.10 ring and pinion. These were leftovers from old freinds projects and very cheap.

The 67 327 with hp factory cam is much better than a 78 buick 350. Less inches but more hp and torque than before. At some point in life, it was rebuilt and taken .030" over. The trans a 700r4 , and stock S10 2600 stall. Shifting the 4.10 gears and 235/60/15s . Runs 2600rpm at 75mph.

For what it was a 350/th350 lesaber with 2.76 gears. The driveline 700r4 with 4.10 drives like a racecar. The car can fry the tires, and accelerate well. The trans and 4.10 alone would be a killer upgrade for acceleration.
